We start 8:30AM go down to the boat and go upstream about 40 minutes to Ban Sop Kong ( Khmu village) and start trekking 1 hour to Mok Waterfall. After your swimming and refreshed we go the same way back to the boat continue upstream to Ban Muang Ngoi ( the original city and old highlight village ) we walk around to visit the village and enjoy the lunch here. After the lunch we do an easy trek 2 hours to see the Kang cave and lush view of the rice fields to Ban Na village and we stay first night here, we can enjoy with the local people (the place you can learn easy and slow life from them).

After breakfast 09:00AM we take a walk 2 hours back to the river and we will have our lunch at Phanoy view point and cave restaurant. After lunch we climb up 25 minutes to the top and enjoy the scenic view of Ou river, then we go down to see Phanoy cave ( the historical cave that local people used to hide the war during the second war ).  After we explored the cave we go down to the boat continue upstream 40 minutes to Ban Sopjem or weaving village ( in this village you will see the local people they’re making scarfs and lao traditional skirts ) and we stay here for our second night.

After breakfast 08:30AM we go down to the boat across the river to the trekking trail and trek through the rice fields and go up the mountain to see the big peaceful jungle 4-5 hours. End the adventure with kayaking along the Nam Ou River, returning to Nong Khiaw about 30 minutes, carrying real memories of nature, culture, and village life.
