1 DAY EASY HIKING: MUANG NGOI-BAN NA
HIKING CAVE | VIEWPOINT | VILLAGE | SLOW BOAT

Your journey begins with a scenic 1 hour and 30 minutes boat ride upstream on the Nam Ou River. Upon arrival in the charming village of Muang Ngoi, we'll take a short walk around the village before starting our easy hike.

The trail leads to Tham Kang Cave, where our guide will share stories about how locals once used the cave as a hiding place during the Indochina War. For those who feel active, there's also the option to hike up to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the valley.

We continue our walk through peaceful rice fields to Ban Na and Ban Houy Bor, home of the Tai Lue ethnic group. Here you can meet local people and, if you wish, support them by buying handmade products. After enjoying a local lunch, we return to Muang Ngoi and take the slow boat back to Nong Khiaw, arriving before sunset.
